The BizHub C550 is a powerful office-use multifunctional printer capable of delivering full-color output at 51 A4 pages/min while offering a wide range of finishing functions. Designed for offices seeking on-demand flexibility and production print quality, the bizhub C550 promises superior image quality and handles a variety of paper sizes and types.

The bizhub C550 prints 50 A4 pages/min in both color and monochrome, and has a first color copy time of just 7.6 seconds (6 seconds for black & white). It can accept paper sizes ranging from A6 to A3 wide and can handle weights between 64 g/m² and 256 g/m², as well as being able to print on OHP transparency sheets and labels. With a paper capacity of 4, 250 sheets with optional LT-211 Large Capacity Tray, the bizhub PRO C500 is equipped to handle large copy runs and multiple-document jobs.

With the addition of the optional Fiery Print Controller IP-901 or the on-board IP-921, the bizhub PRO C500 can serve as a network printer in TCP/IP, IPX/SPX and EtherTalk environments. Fiery applications give users increased control over document imposition, variable data source printing and job management.

Two types of finishers are available as options. FS-513 Staple Finishers can hold up to 3,000 sorted-sheets or 1,000 stapled-sheets in the main tray and FS-606 Booklet Finisher, enable the bizhub PRO C500 to handle stapling, hole punching, booklet binding and a range of folding configurations. Designed to handle high volume document production as well as small lot on-demand jobs, the bizhub PRO C500 is ideal for producing a wide range of marketing materials and sales tools.

With top-mounted optional DF-319 RADF, the bizhub PRO C500 can scan up to 37 originals/min and handle mixed paper sizes and weights. A variety of functions make using scanned data quick and easy, such as scan to E-mail for attaching data in TIFF or PDF format to e-mail messages and scan to FTP for transferring data to an FTP server for easy access and distribution. The bizhub PRO C500 can also save data to its own internal hard drive for archiving and on-demand printing. These and other features and improve your office's efficiency and information management.

The bizhub PRO C500's image quality is also outstanding. It provides superior 600 × 600dpi resolution and uses an advanced polymerized toner featuring smaller, more consistently shaped particles for sharper lines and smoother gradations.
